It is just playing around like ripples of one river and passing on or is it going deep into the depths of tears to find unique pearls?

Followers of both these philosophies put forward very strong arguments in their defence. Here spiritual and material ideologies differ. One says beauty is mortal- it will fade out. Other says love is immortal-it will live for ever. One says life is short-enjoy it to the fullest. For the other sacrifice is love.

This argument, no body knows when it started, but it is as fresh as it was a hundred or even a thousand years ago.

The clash of these two philosophies is Barsaat. The argument and discussions based on culture and knowledge simultaneously take and give defeat to each other. But even with the aid of these, neither Pran can convince Gopal nor Gopal Pran. But it is decided by two uneducated girls who are brought up in the lap of nature-whose souls are the symbols of the greatness of the mountains and whose bodies are the symbols of the virginity of the snow peaks. These innocent daughters of nature who for the sake of somebody's love can live in the storm of tears and also can sacrifice their lives smilingly.

Reshma and Neela turn and egnostic into a worshiper and worshiper into God. But........life is a bubble.........if only man can conquer death!!!

But don't despair, Remember those lines of Pran which he told Gopal when Gopal was perplexed. "Apparently lovers haven't gained anything. What did Ranjha get, but a cold grave? What Mahival got, except a corpse! But, they have made love immortal. They have brightened the path of coming generations by the everbright lamp of love. They taught man how to love. Is it not an achievement?"

It is a story of high mountains and deep valleys where clouds are vagabonds, but where people love each other and wait for those whom they love-and one day the same vigil becomes the cry of the heart and then in the shape of songs it scatters in the atmosphere.

It is a story of those songs.

It is a story of those vigils and the story of love.
